Lead Automotive Diagnostic Technician

Lake Motor Group is looking for an experienced Lead Automotive Diagnostic Technician to handle advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on our dealership inventory. We're looking for a technician who can identify the root cause of a problem, not simply replace parts based on fault codes.

Responsibilities: - Advanced vehicle diagnostics - Electrical troubleshooting - Engine mechanical diagnostics - Diagnose misfires and performance issues - Compression and leak-down testing - Timing-related diagnostics - OEM and professional diagnostic platforms - Diagnose domestic and European vehicles - Determine correct repair procedures - Handle complex repairs - Verify repair quality - Assist and mentor B-Level and Junior Technicians - Help reduce repeat repairs and comebacks
