CDL-A Car Hauler Driver

An employer is seeking experienced CDL-A drivers for car hauler positions, based out of Charlotte, NC. The role involves transporting vehicles on routes primarily to California and other US states. This is a full-time opportunity with competitive compensation based on a percentage of gross earnings. Drivers will operate modern equipment, including Volvo 2025, Freightliner 2026, and Kenworth 2024 trucks with 5-car Sun Country or 8-car Eazy Loader trailers. For 5-car haulers, driver earnings range from $4,500 to $5,100 per run. For 8-car haulers, earnings are between $5,800 and $7,800 for runs lasting approximately 7 to 7.5 days. The payment structure offers up to 34% of the gross revenue, with experienced drivers eligible to start at the 34% rate. Additionally, drivers can earn an extra $100-$200 plus tips for transporting personal items within vehicles. Truck parking near home can be arranged.
