CDL-A Car Hauler Truck Driver

The employer is seeking CDL-A drivers to join their car hauling operations based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. Drivers will operate on routes covering California and various other states, with the possibility of parking the truck near home by prior arrangement. Compensation is highly competitive, offering between 32% and 34% of the gross revenue. For those operating 5-car trailers, expected weekly earnings range from $4,500 to $5,100, while 8-car trailer drivers can earn between $5,800 and $7,800 per week. Experienced car haulers are eligible for the maximum 34% rate immediately. Additional earnings of $100–$200 plus tips are available for transporting personal items within the vehicles. Typical duties for this role include the safe loading, securing, and unloading of vehicles, performing pre-trip inspections, and maintaining accurate electronic logs. The employer provides specialized training for drivers who have experience with other trailer types but are new to car hauling.
