CDL-A Conestoga Truck Driver

The employer is currently seeking experienced CDL-A drivers to join their team operating Conestoga trailers out of Chicago, Illinois. This position offers the opportunity to drive brand new 2024 equipment, specifically Freightliner Cascadia and Mack Pioneer models. Typical duties include safely transporting goods over long distances, securing loads, and maintaining accurate logs while ensuring on-time deliveries. Compensation is highly competitive, structured at 32% of the truck's gross earnings. Drivers can expect a weekly gross between $11,000 and $15,000. Payments are issued weekly with the significant benefit of no deposit required from the driver. The work schedule follows an over-the-road rotation of three weeks on the road followed by one week of home time. Interested candidates should have at least 1.5 years of professional driving experience to qualify for this role. While the position focuses on Conestoga trailers, previous experience with flatbed operations is preferred.
