CDL-A Driver (Conestoga/Reefer)

The employer is seeking experienced CDL-A truck drivers for Conestoga and Reefer routes. Drivers can expect to earn an average of $4,000–$4,500+ per week. Payment options include 32%-33% of gross revenue for Conestoga loads or a per-mile rate of $1.00 CPM, with team drivers earning up to $1.30 CPM. Payments are made weekly, every Monday, and no deposit is required. The fleet features new Volvo 2026–2027 Conestoga and Reefer trucks. Drivers have the flexibility to take their truck home to any state, with the company covering home parking expenses. The employer operates its own shop and has a yard located in Elgin, IL. Typical duties for this role include safely transporting goods across various routes, adhering to traffic laws and regulations, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintaining accurate logbooks. Home time is flexible, offering 3–4 days home after 3 weeks on the road, or up to a week home after 4 weeks. Drivers residing near Chicago may be home almost every weekend, and routes are customized to suit individual driver preferences. The company pays for the first ticket and hotel stay for new drivers and offers paid training at $150 per day. Additionally, detention and layover times are compensated, and drivers are provided with rate confirmations. The employer also allows drivers to choose routes based on pay rates and permits pets and family members to travel along.
