Job description

The employer is seeking experienced CDL-A Dry Van Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Drivers. This position involves consistent routes primarily between Chicago and California, with additional routes passing through Denver and Dallas. Drivers can expect to be home weekly for their restart period, ensuring a good work-life balance. The fleet consists of 35 modern trucks, including new 2026-2027 models and 2027 dry van trailers. The company operates two terminals in Ontario, CA, Commerce, CA, and Chicago, IL, with dispatchers based in Chicago. Maintenance is supported by an in-house service in Elk Grove Village, IL. In case of a breakdown on the road, service is dispatched promptly or a replacement truck is provided; drivers who perform minor self-repairs are compensated. Compensation for this role is $0.75 per mile, with an additional $150 for any downtime and $50 for each extra stop or delivery. The role features 100% drop & hook operations in Chicago, and an average of 50% drop & hook across all loads.
