CDL-A Dry Van Truck Driver (OTR)

The employer is seeking CDL-A drivers for Dry Van Over-The-Road (OTR) routes, primarily between Chicago and California. Routes also include passages through Denver and Dallas. Drivers can expect to be home every week for their restart, maintaining a consistent schedule. This position offers competitive pay, including $0.75 CPM, $150 for downtime, and $50 for extra stops/deliveries. The employer operates a modern fleet of 35 dry van trucks and new trailers, all from 2026-2027 models. They provide dedicated service with an in-house repair shop in Elk Grove Village, IL. In case of a breakdown on the road, rapid service response or a replacement truck is provided, and drivers are compensated for self-repaired minor issues. Key benefits include permanent routes between terminals, with 100% drop & hook in Chicago and an average of 50% drop & hook for all loads. The employer has two terminals located in Ontario, CA, and Commerce, CA, in addition to Chicago, IL. Dispatchers are based in Chicago, ensuring efficient communication and support.
