CDL-A OTR Dry Van Driver

JET FREIGHT SERVICES is seeking an experienced CDL A Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver for dry van operations. This position primarily involves routes between Chicago, IL, and California, utilizing the I-80 corridor. Drivers can expect to average 3500-4500 miles per week, with a potential earning of $3000-$3500 weekly, which translates to an annual salary range of $156,000-$182,000. Compensation includes $0.75 per mile, an additional $50 for extra stops, and bonuses for clean inspections. Payments are made weekly, and no deposit is required from the driver. The fleet consists of modern trucks, including Volvo 2027 and Freightliner models from 2025-2027. Main bases for operation are Chicago, IL; Reno, NV; and Sacramento, CA. Typical duties include transporting goods safely and efficiently across state lines, conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate electronic logbooks, and ensuring compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
