CDL-A OTR Dry Van Truck Driver

The employer is currently seeking CDL-A OTR drivers for Dry Van operations, specifically for routes between Chicago and California. Additional routes passing through Denver and Dallas are also available. The position offers a highly competitive rate of $0.75 per mile, along with $150 for detention and $50 for each extra stop or delivery. Drivers can expect a reliable schedule with weekly home time for restarts. Technological excellence is a hallmark of this role, featuring a modern fleet of 35 trucks including brand new 2026–2027 models and 2027 trailers. Maintenance is handled through a dedicated service center in Elk Grove Village, IL. In the event of a breakdown, the company provides rapid roadside assistance or a replacement truck. Typical duties for this role include safely transporting goods over long distances, performing pre-trip inspections, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining electronic logs. Operational efficiency is high, with 100% drop-and-hook at the Chicago terminal and approximately 50% drop-and-hook across the entire network.
