CDL A Solo and Team Truck Drivers / Owner Operators

SAMCO Freight is currently seeking CDL Class A drivers for Solo, Team, and Owner Operator positions. The company operates a modern fleet of 2023-2025 Volvo and Freightliner trucks with PM service performed every three weeks. Drivers will handle Dry Van, Reefer, and Hazmat loads, with a significant portion of Dry Van freight being drop-and-hook. The role offers dedicated lines, stable West Coast routes, and 24/7 dispatch support to ensure constant employment. Compensation packages are highly competitive and vary by role. Solo Reefer/Hazmat drivers can earn between $3,500 and $5,500 weekly, while Solo Dry Van drivers earn between $2,800 and $4,000 per week. Team drivers can expect between $2,400 and $3,500 per driver weekly. Owner Operators are offered a 10% dispatch fee. Typical duties for these roles include safe operation of heavy equipment, maintaining logbooks, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods across state lines. Additional perks include weekly safety bonuses, clean inspection bonuses, and detention pay of $35 per hour (up to 5 hours). If detention exceeds 5 hours, a layover rate of $150 per day is applied.
