CDL-A Stepdeck Driver

The employer is seeking an experienced CDL-A Stepdeck Driver for a full-time position. This role primarily involves transporting goods on a dedicated route between Chicago, Illinois, and Houston, Texas. Drivers can expect to be home on weekends, with a flexible schedule that can be discussed individually. Typical duties include operating a commercial motor vehicle equipped with a stepdeck trailer, safely transporting diverse cargo, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensuring compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The compensation structure offers competitive earnings, ranging from $3,500 to $4,500 per week, based on 33% to 35% of the gross revenue. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is also provided, paid in full after three months of employment. No deposit is required from the driver.
