CDL-A Truck Driver (Dry Van / Flatbed / Step Deck)

Vivian Express is seeking experienced CDL-A Truck Drivers for Dry Van, Flatbed, and Step Deck operations. This position is based out of Elgin, Illinois, and offers a flexible work schedule. For Dry Van routes, drivers can expect to earn 32% of the gross, averaging $3,000-$3,400 per week, with truck gross typically ranging from $10,000-$13,000. Flatbed and Step Deck drivers can earn up to 34% of the truck's gross, which usually falls between $12,000-$15,000. The employer provides numerous benefits, including no deposit required for employment. Drivers receive $250 per day compensation for truck repairs caused by the company, and $150 per day for canceled loads or if no loading is available. Paid training is also offered at $150 per day, along with paid parking near home and full rate confirmations. Vivian Express is committed to supporting its drivers, including assistance for those aspiring to become Owner-Operators. Drivers will utilize a modern fleet, featuring 2025 Freightliner models that are regularly updated. The company maintains its own shop and yard in Elgin, IL, and uses PrePass for convenience. All cameras are strictly road-facing, ensuring driver privacy. Typical duties include safely transporting goods, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies.
