CDL Class A Truck Driver (Solo, Team, and Owner-Operator)

SAMCO FREIGHT is currently hiring CDL Class A drivers for Solo and Team positions, as well as Owner Operators, to handle Dry Van, Reefer, and Hazmat loads. The company offers competitive pay structures based on a percentage of the gross revenue. Solo Reefer and Hazmat drivers can earn between 32% and 35%, with weekly pay ranging from $3,500 to $5,500. Solo Dry Van drivers receive 30% of the gross, with 70% of loads being drop and hook, resulting in weekly earnings between $2,800 and $4,000. Team drivers can earn between $2,400 and $3,500 per driver per week. The employer provides late-model equipment, specifically 2023-2025 Volvo and Freightliner trucks, which undergo PM service every three weeks. Typical duties include transporting freight across dedicated lines and stable West Coast routes while maintaining 24/7 communication with the dispatch service. The role ensures regular flights and consistent employment with a focus on efficiency and safety. Benefits include weekly safety bonuses and clean inspection bonuses. Drivers are also compensated for detention at $35 per hour (up to 5 hours) and a layover rate of $150 per day for longer waits. Owner Operators are welcome with a 10% dispatch fee.
