CDL Solo Driver (Flatbed, Stepdeck, Conestoga)

The employer is seeking dedicated CDL Solo drivers for Flatbed, Stepdeck, and Conestoga operations. Based out of a yard in Chicago, IL (60803), this role offers a variety of routes including regional options with weekly home time (e.g., IL-OH-IL, IL-TX-IL), longer hauls (e.g., IL-UT-IL with 2 weeks out/4 days home), and Over the Road (OTR) for maximum mileage, typically 3500-4000+ miles per week. Typical duties include safely operating commercial vehicles, transporting various goods, ensuring timely deliveries, performing vehicle inspections, and adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This position offers highly competitive pay, ranging from 30% to 32% of gross earnings, which can result in an annual salary between $187,200 and $282,880, or a weekly gross pay of $3,600 to $5,440. Drivers can expect earnings of over $1 per mile, with weekly gross potential between $12,000 and $17,000. The employer provides new trucks (2025-2027 models) and prioritizes driver comfort with a "No Tarping" policy on all loads, eliminating the need for manual tarping. Additional benefits include no deposits, direct contracts, access to the employer's own brokers, and specialized Military and Heavy Haul cargo. Experience with flatbed, stepdeck, or conestoga trailers is not required, as comprehensive training is provided. Non-Domiciled licenses are accepted for regional routes.
