CDL Truck Driver (Dry Van / Reefer)

The employer is seeking experienced CDL drivers for Dry Van and Reefer operations based out of Summit, Illinois. Drivers can expect competitive weekly earnings, with Dry Van operators earning $3,200-$3,500+ per week and Reefer operators earning $4,000+ per week. Other compensation structures include 32% of the truck's gross earnings (typically $10,000-$14,000+) or per-mile rates of 85¢ for Dry Van and 95¢ for Reefer. This contract opportunity includes payment for detention and layovers, along with bonuses for clean inspections. The fleet features modern Freightliner Cascadia trucks from 2025-2027, with Dry Van and Reefer trailers available. Flatbed and Step Deck options are also offered. The employer provides support by covering flight and hotel expenses for drivers, and can assist with truck leasing or lease-to-own programs. Typical duties involve safely transporting goods across designated routes, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and maintaining accurate logs.
