Minivan Driver for School Transport

An employer is seeking a driver with their own 8-passenger minivan for a school transportation route. The primary responsibility involves transporting 6 to 7 people to and from school. Typical duties for this role include ensuring the safety of all passengers, maintaining a clean vehicle, and adhering to a strict pickup and drop-off schedule. The work schedule consists of approximately 2 hours of driving per day. Specifically, the driver is needed from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM and again from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. On Fridays, the schedule changes to a morning shift and a return trip at 1:00 PM. This is a 1099 independent contractor position with weekly payments issued via check.
